The issue that really matters to me is giving a voice to the voiceless. This group includes the poor and the youthful youth. I became aware about this through my work as a journalist as most of the issues that are being covered by the media concern people that are already in the limelight and leave out the grassroots. The issue that matters to me most right now is Global Warming. I first learned about global warming in my humanities class where I learned about the melting of polar ice caps and glaciers due to rising temperatures on earth. I have also learned that using more sustainable practices such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power can greatly reduce the amount of pollution that is produced in our environment. No man is permitted to leave any person he has related with in the same way that he met him. He either affects him positively or negatively, mars him or makes him. Friendship and relationships inspire me knowing that if I make the right friends or relate with people with similar interest, great minds with visions to make the world a better place will meet.
